The program is designed to meet you at your current level of fitness and take you from there. Whether you're someone who has never exercised regularly before or an athlete needing to break through a training plateau, I'll make sure you see improvements and results and we'll talk one-on-one to ensure you're working toward your specific goals. I'll also make sure you feel comfortable and confident about what you're doing.

What are classes like?

  • Captain Quinn’s Brooklyn Fitness Boot Camp is not just another exercise class. It’s about bringing the benefits of working with a personal trainer to a larger audience for a lower price. Any effective personal training program includes setting individual goals within the context of an individual’s personal health and fitness background. I’ll make time for you individually to do this so we can ensure you get the best results from the program
  • 45 Minutes of fat blasting, strength building, endurance enhancing, mind transforming, confidence building fun; A typical workout consists of:
  • Warm-up and psych-up (gotta get ready to rock!)
  • 20-30 minutes of constantly changing individual and group aerobic and strength building exercises with built in rest intervals. We'll give your body a little rest but the energy will remain extremely high! Every exercise will be explained and demonstrated first and your instructor will keep an eye on form and proper execution. Safety first! Most exercises will include variations for different fitness and experience levels. No one gets left behind!
  • A fun team building exercise (think back to the school yard when you were a kid)
  • Cool down, stretch, announcements
    You will NEVER see the same workout twice. If you get bored, I’m not doing my job! We make the workouts fun and challenging at the same time. The more effort you put into the class, the more results you will get out of it. We also do everything we can to ensure everyone stays injury free.  All workouts are developed by Captain Quinn, a Certified Personal Trainer, and are designed so that you can work at your level.     Do I need to bring anything with me?
    Comfortable workout clothes, a towel, and a water bottle along with your best effort and a team spirit! The harder you work, the greater the benefit. But, know your limits. If you feel sick, dizzy, or out of breath, its OK to take a break or slow down a bit. We'll all encourage you but no one will push you to do anything you don't want to do. Likewise, we are all in this together. Anyone heard talking down to, insulting, or making negative comments to another recruit will be warned once. If it happens again, he or she will be asked to leave for good. NO EXCEPTIONS. We are a team.

    Location: 3rd St and 4th Ave (Across from Staples)

    BROOKLYN HEIGHTS/DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN/COBBLE HILL

    Location: Cadman Plaza Park.

    WE WILL MOVE TO INDOOR FACILITIES CLOSE TO THE ABOVE LOCATIONS FROM NOVEMBER THROUGH APRIL

    Who can join Captain Quinn's Fitness Boot Camp?
    Captain Quinn’s Boot Camp is for men and women of all ages, and fitness abilities.
    Do I have to be in shape?
    NO!!!! That's our job. In the beginning, we will assess your current fitness level through a few basic exercises. If you're worried that you can't do one push-up, that's o.k. You're not alone. You don't have to be in shape to join. No one gets left behind. All Boot Camp instructors will explain and demonstrate all exercises and motivate you with positive reinforcement to do your best. If you think you're already in shape, don't worry: the Captain has a few surprises for you too.
    How Much Does it Cost?
    Cost depends on how many days per week you attend but all members pay on a monthly basis and packages run as low as $10 per session. You can cancel at any time. You get healthier, happier, and hotter or I give you your money back. Period. No gimmicks, schemes, or red tape.
